Dear supporters, compatriots, brothers and sisters:
First of all, our family would like to express our gratitude to everyone
for your concerns and supports for our family from the very first day
that our mother, Mrs. Bui Thi Minh Hang, was arbitrarily arrested by Lap
Vo police in Dong Thap province.
Our mother has been detained incommunicado for 38 days. Thus we are very
worried about the health status, and even the life, of our mother since
we learn that she has been on a hunger strike to protest the illegal
police actions.
Therefore, our family decides to make a protest at 9 AM on Sunday, March, 23, 2014, at Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi,
where there are memorable hallmarks of our mother participating in the
previous protests, to seek justice for our mother and to claim our legal
rights of visiting her in prison.
On behalf of the family I would like to send these words of appreciation
to those who have supported our mother, especially her close friends.
We respectfully ask for your continual support for our family in the
struggle to seek justice for our mother by joining our protest.
