Với sự vận động thành công của Hội Cựu Chiến Binh Hoa Kỳ Phục Vụ Tại Việt Nam, Chapter 1067 (Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1067), và Cộng đồng Người Việt Quốc Gia ở khắp nơi, đặc biệt với sự quyết tâm và nổ lực của Chiến hữu Nguyễn Ngọc Sơn, một cựu Sĩ Quan QLVNCH (Khóa 5/70 SQ Trừ bị Thủ Đức), cựu Sinh viên Học Viện Quốc Gia Hành Chánh (Tham sự 4), hiện đang cư ngụ tại thành phố Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama trở thành tiểu bang thứ 17, Công Nhận và Vinh Danh lá Cờ Vàng Ba Sọc Đỏ, lá cờ chính nghĩa của Quân, Dân Việt Nam Cộng Hòa...

Thật bất ngờ tôi lại mới nhận được email của TNS Holtzclaw cho biết:

Vì sự nhầm lẫn của thư ký nên ông ta không biết là Hạ Viện Alabama cũng đã thông qua Nghị Định Vinh danh có vàng 3 sọc đỏ của chúng ta vào giờ chót của khóa hop tháng Ba vừa qua. Tóm lại là công đồng chúng ta đã thành công và TB Alabama là tb thứ 17 chính thức công nhận có vàng. Hội VN vet địa phương và tôi đang chuẩn bị tổ chức một buổi họp để TNS Holtclow  công bố chính thức Nghị Định này.

Dear Senator Holtzclaw, we cannot thank you enough for seeing that our friends and citizens, formally of the Republic of Vietnam, some who we fought and died  side by side with their relatives (or survived) in the Republic of Vietnam, can now see their flag honored and displayed within the State of Alabama, and be proud that their children and grandchildren are attending Universities of higher education and learning in the Great State of Alabama, that will now display their flag on International Flag Day, or any other day within the State of Alabama.  Our next scheduled meeting of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1067 is Thursday evening, June 12, 2014, at the Civitan Care Building, 3053 Leeman Ferry Rd., Huntsville, AL 35801 at 5:30PM, our building will be open at 5PM with refreshments available prior to the start of the meeting.  If this date is suitable for you to make the presentation, please let me know, if not, let me know when you will be in the Huntsville/Madison area, and I will arrange a presentation site, either at Still Serving Veterans downtown, or a local restaurant, Probably Mullins, located in 5-Points as they have a large room available, and we can plan a luncheon.  Please let me know your desires and I will coordinate with Sony Nguyen and his people to schedule the presentation, at your convenience.
